There are days when it seems like my job is Head of HR instead of Chief Internet Strategist. Trellon is hiring developers and project managers again. Check out our jobs page to see the open positions. If you have previously applied with us, please feel free to apply again.
There are a few reasons why we are hiring you may want to know about.
First off, we have ambitions to open an office in Brazil this summer, and hopefully Australia in 2010. People who have some flexibility in their geographic location, and want to be right in the middle of some interesting, cross-cultural political projects are encouraged to apply. You will get to hang out in the rainforest as well as enjoy the metropolitan delights of big South American cities while learning how Democracy works in the world's 10th largest economy. People without any flexibilty to move anywhere, or who possess an ideological disposition that precludes an interest in political affairs, are encouraged to apply as well. Trellon is a virtual company and we need to make sure our domestic team remains fully staffed as we go along.
Secondly, we have a lot of stuff we want to release, including the Interface module and other similarly interesting things having to do with personalization we have been keeping quiet about. We want to be overstaffed going forward to keep up the momentum on things we do that are not client projects. Everyone at Trellon who works at least 35 hours a week is paid for time contributing back to Drupal and CiviCRM, up to 5 hours a week (more if you are doing something really cool or if you are Morbus). Right now, we are especially looking for people who understand jQuery inside and out, know a thing or two about Smarty, are active in their local Drupal meetup groups, have aspirations to manage other developers / lead teams, possess a thorough knowledge of SMS in an international environment, or are comfortable training people who are transitioning onto Drupal for the first time.
If you think you fit the bill, drop us a line at email@example.com.
